Patrick

This year started off with Patrick returning to work with Godaddy back in Customer Service. It was great to be back in the workplace but after several months his back issues got the better of him and he had to go back on disability leave. He has a degenerative disc disease causing tears in several of his lower back discs. This causes the fluid in the disc to rupture and places a lot of pressure on the nerves. His medical insurance has ruled out the only two operations that may help the issue due to them being experimental. They also denied the appeals so as of now there is nothing more that can be done.

Patrick is currently pursuing online schooling. He is attending Grand Canyon University and so far, has maintained a 4.0 GPA placing him on the President’s list. He is studying history and postsecondary education, so he can become a history teacher for a High School or Jr, High. He loves history and working with kids, so he feels this would be an excellent fit for this position.

He has been getting into the holiday season with baking and some sort of an attempt at making a Yule Log cake. He made a great Holiday Turkey dinner for Penny and the rest of the family. Erika prepared all the fancy appetizers and got a chance to break out her finest dishes. It was a great meal! He is looking forward to Christmas Dinner! Alyssa and Wyatt helped put up Christmas lights on the outside and decorate a few trees inside. Pat has also put some serious hours into watching Hallmark Christmas movies.
